funniest shirtJeff was my college roommate for three years. He is among the two or three funniest people in the entire world, and among the smartest. He is also the best veterinarian in the entire world. He visited us upstate a couple times, and it was great seeing him again. Think he was living in Spanish Harlem at this point. Moved back to Long Beach eventually. Have not seen him in 30 years.

two funny cubanOK, so there I was earlier tonight...taking studio portraits of a beautiful woman and I produced a portrait like this. Granted, on the face of it, this seems particularly evil. However, I can only say (as a plea in mitigation) that Raima (my model) actually managed to come up with this pose herself. Once she had of course, there was simply no way I wasn't going to press the shutter release! :-) I only met Raima at the weekend. She is a professional dancer from Cuba, who has been appearing in Hemingway's Havana at St George's West, as part of The World Festival. On Saturday evening I saw and photographed the show. When I met Raima again on Sunday, she asked if I could take some studio shots of her. There were significant time constraints, since Raima leaves tomorrow and had to perform both last night and tonight. However, we managed to arrange a fairly short studio session tonight,
