funniest shirtJeff was my college roommate for three years. He is among the two or three funniest people in the entire world, and among the smartest. He is also the best veterinarian in the entire world. He visited us upstate a couple times, and it was great seeing him again. Think he was living in Spanish Harlem at this point. Moved back to Long Beach eventually. Have not seen him in 30 years.

I think Freud would have a field day with the motivation behind the purchase of such a vehicle -- and this is from someone who is a car guy. If your vehicle is going to consume that much gasoline, at least get some performance , or at least have it be a decent pick-up for hauling material. I just can't see wasting that much gas and have roughly the acceleration and top speed of the 1971 VW Type 3 Squareback in which I learned to drive.
