Dances in Churches
The last part of the photo shoot I did a while ago with Rowan took place in the largest church in Leiden, the Hooglandse Kerk (Highland Church; since it is build on the highest point in Leiden). As soon as she heard the church's organ play she began a silly kind of mystical dance. If all goes well I will do a shoot with Rowan again soon. I am already looking forward to it. Meanwhile my cousin Bram joined Flickr a few days ago. Why don't you go take a look at his stream and say hello to him? I am sure he'd like that..

Jimmy 'The Tongue' Beldowney
1938 mug shot, James Beldowney, (born 1930) aka-Jimmy "the tongue", aka-JT, aka-JImmy Bugeyes, aka-Bugeye Jim, aka-Bite Downey, aka-Bad Boy. Called "The Enforcer" by the local newpapers of the time, James Beldowney was an immigrant from China, and was adopted by the Beldowney family of East Meadow. Never a good student he quickly became a known delinquent by the local Police department. At the age of 4 he moved from low level B&E crimes to murder when he Killed and ate Dolores Ferenti an 83 year old woman who fed the pigeons in prospect park. After two years in pound he escaped disguised as a cat. He next surfaced as a strong arm for the Perlitari crime family where he is thought to have commited numerous murders for the head of that family, Carbo Perlitari. He died of old age in pound in 1941..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY HUSBAND i love you more than anything else on this earth happy birthday to Lana too, it's her birthday as well hehe i am not completely sure of this because i had to hurry with the making of, in fact this is the "personal" present i got for hubby, printed it for him (and he liked him a lot) but since i spent all afternoon long cooking him a fruits cake, i didn't have much time left The one i printed has a different processing because i was late and i printed the first decent that came out but i like this one better, it's brighter. Still i am not sure yet. I think i look a bit like a barbie doll in the box lmao. a little plastic. the eyes aren't that weird in the original size, it's this damn 500x350 version. and yes, i need better drawing pens, you can't almost read the vignette- sigh..

This is me wearing a funny tee that says "keep staring... maybe I'll do a trick." I created the design for the shirt... but the actual idea was inspired by a similar one I saw someone wearing at a festival. I changed it up a bit to give it a touch of my own :).
