I have no idea if that's actually what they were calling themselves, but that's what I'm calling them. Best costumes of the day...best dance moves, too!.

No Need to Cry!
School's almost out and summer's almost here, but our students are not happy that I'm closing the library until September! In creating this sign, I tried to inject a little humour into a sour time of year for our library users, and they have been laughing it up since (*whew*). Funny story: A couple of our self-proclaimed "cool" ninth grade boys were walking down the hall, spotted the sign and quipped (not knowing I was right behind them) that the photo was of me! I couldn't help but laugh, and their expressions told me they were not feeling so "cool" anymore, thinking they'd get in trouble for their comment. How do you explain to 14-year-olds that it's impossible to be angry with someone who thinks I'm young enough to have COLOUR baby photos! I'm honoured! :).

Now we know why he s stil missing....
