Just Can't Get Enough
Yesterday I laughed and laughed as I watched Alvin come and go from where I left seeds and nuts for him. Last year he never took one peanut either shelled or in the shell but yesterday I saw him take both. I think he's one year older and his tastes have grown lol ;) That's my story and I'm sticking to it LOL SO the advertures of Alvin continue ;) lol (Funny but that little seed in his mouth looks like a little tooth to me lol ;) "Tamias is Greek for "storer," a reference to the animals' habit of collecting and storing food for winter use". Have a great day everyone! :)

Happy Meal
I came across this little chipmunk the other day who I've named Alvin..lol I wish I had something to give him as he was munching away on leaves on this old fallen log......He seemed happy enough..but I loved his cheeks here lol I don't think he got much more in till he was off to his burrow again. Chipmunks "They have reddish-brown fur on their upper parts with 5 dark brown stripes and contrasting light brown stripes along their backs and light underparts. They have a tawny stripe that goes from their whiskers to below their ears and light stripes over their eyes. They have a dark tail. Like other chipmunks, they transport food in pouches in their cheeks. They have 2 fewer teeth than other chipmunks and have 4 toes each in the front legs but five in the back legs." Have a great day everyone!! View On Black

When You're Smiling
Guess what? Alvin's got a girlfriend! At least I think so anyway. Here she is....(at least I'd like to think it's a she lol) I see the two of them come and go now and they are so much fun to watch. This one is smaller than Alvin and has lots of spunk..She comes and goes and now lets me feed her..I had just given her this nut and I quickly took this shot of her..Like she was posing to say "thanks' ;). I laughed when I saw this one..Hope you have a chuckle today too ;) "Tamias is Greek for "storer," a reference to the animals' habit of collecting and storing food for winter use."
