Kwabena & his new son Ben
My new first cousin-once-removed seems to really like being held like a football. Kwab says that this is the one thing that always settles him! Another new father tipped him off to this trick and he's been doing it ever since. My family went nuts over Ben. He's a very photogenic, contemplative baby - always with a puzzled look and an endearingly furrowed brow. Certainly not the loud and crabby sort, as far as I can tell. Much to my cousins' relief! My family, especially my cousin Emily, are dreading January when Kwab has to ship out for another tour of duty with the Marines. If you can keep him in your thoughts during that time and hope for his safety we'd all appreciate it. Ben and Emily need him, and he's already such a good dad. The last thing this country needs is to lose any more good young men like Kwab. If he is sacrificed to this stupid war, I will personally round up a posse and kidnap Bush, dropping him into sub-Saharan Africa where he'll have to ingratiate himself.
