Zach & Vanessa: The Groom's Gone Spoony
Zach mugs as he and Vanessa cooperate on feeding. I went upstate to shoot another wedding this weekend, and, as you can tell here, had a great deal of fun. (and, yes, work) Want an extraordinary couple? How about two medical students whose idea of a vacation is to go on a 2,000-mile bike tour? More images to come once I present proofs to the couple. This was also my first wedding with the Lightsphere, which is basically a giant flash diffuser, and it was used for this shot. As I had hoped, it works wonderfully as long as you know when to use it and when not to. Sometimes you need hard, focused light effects. The 'sphere was rather extraordinarily helpful for table shots, though. I'd recommend it for professionals interested in soft light options -- people who aren't working for clients can make functional cheaper versions on their own, but a lot of people would be nervous if their hired photographer showed up with a flash attachment that read "Tupperware." <.

Strobist info: Living room lamp, behind camera, diffused with translucent plastic; halogen lamp, behind camera right. Just a take on all of those shots of pregnant ladies' bellies and the baby blocks . It didn't come out exactly as I had envisioned but I think this is the best I can do with my technical abilities. For CWD: Excess. Nothing exceeds like excess, and this week we want to see what that means. This is surely not to be missed on black . C'mon! You know you want to fave it! :D.

Music: Shout Out Louds - Normandie This picture is fresh from the garden as a contribution to the Funny Face Friday Group ... I regret nothing and even stay with green today again, cause it's the same background like recently with the opening beer scene :-) But this time with 10s-self -timer. This weekend will be quite exhausting for my head, as I still have to get 50 pages of some papers in my head! Learning all by heart, I really dont like it, especially not with 25°C+ outside! Definately no large on black today. Oh, and I can only encourage everyone to submit their funny faces, as well....
