Gone, Going, Gone
Bald Eagle- Haliaeetus leucocephalus - Coming home this winter I did not expect to see my wild eagle friends so close again, they tend to be a bit scarce in the winter. I was hiking over near a favorite harbor of mine and I saw a swarm of eagles occur above some boats, I ran down to find three eagles that broke into this fishing boat's bait boxes. It was fantastic, being so close, trusting and being trusted by such wicked and wild creatures :) A true gift today was..
Clumsy Fisherman
These 3 photos show a man falling into the water. The first photo shows the man on the far right just before he made contact with the water. The second photo shows him trying to get up. He is in the middle of the picture. The third photo shows him climbing out on the far right of the picture. Only me and one other guy saw the whole thing but luckily for him, I had a camera!.

Peanuts make me thirsty
My son Tyler and I were on a week long fishing trip in Northern Ontario and this chipmunk showed up the first day. Tyler gave him some peanuts. The chipmunk would load his cheeks up, run back to its home, empty his cheeks then come back for more. After 1 day we ran out of peanuts so I had to drive 60 miles to the closest town to get some more. My son named him " crazy ". Tyler would get up in the morning, go outside the trailer and call " crazy " and he would come running, He would run up Tylers leg and up to his shoulder. He would sit on Tyler for hours and the two of them seemed to become very attached to each other. Tyler had more fun with crazy then he did fishing. Tyler was really sad when it was time for us to leave..
