This is Babacar, 5, and Aminata, 7, two of my host siblings during my four day stay in Keur Sadaro, a Wolof village several kilometers outside of Thies, Senegal. Aminata is absolutely one of my favourite Senegalese children. There will be more photos posted from my short stay in Keur Sadaro. added to Cream of the Crop as my most interesting photo.

California Sea Monster, Beware, Dangerous When Fed Cookies
This unusual specimen was sighted on the beach in Torrey Pines. It looks safe but this sea kelp creature can turn dangerous when fed on cookies, candy or potatoe chips. Well its an organic costume though I sure would want to shower to get the sea flies off if this was me. Cheers.

hehe, she was trying to catch leaves (not as cool as flower confetti.. ;) ) what a face! her eyes are going different directions! i guess she had to keep one eye on me while the other searched for leaves! i have captured her multi tasking with the eyes before...

Lot of fun after the first shot with all the tribe! The Pokhot live in the Baringo and Western Pokot districts of Kenya and in Uganda. There are two main sub-groups depending of their location and way of life. The first group consist of the Hill Pokot who live in the rainy highlands in the west and in the central south, and are mainly farmers and pastoralists. The second group is made up of the Plains Pokot who live in dry and infertile plains, with their cattles. A homestead is composed of one or more buildings for a man, his wife and child.
