Saltwater Earrings
Meet Lulu .. queen of hearts! (2 water goddesses posted back-to-back :) Lulu LOVES to swim .. and taught herself to surf on surfboards when just a few months old.. so the surfers around here love her & let her ride their longboards.. As enthusiastic as Nature is with Basset Hound ears, so She is with their over-abundance of skin! (that's why Lulu looks so.. uh.. luscious :) This is Kaalawai beach on Oahu, just a few steps from our home. She grew up here... is now 10 and 10/12ths years young.. She is my heart .. & makes me laugh 1000 times a day.. :).

i got her doggles yesterday.....hhehe, for sun protection and i think they are sooo cute. i was happy they had one pair left in this size and color, for the rest were soooo small and pink, for a yorkie or blue or red with snoopy designs. i thought this color was sorta classy. now granted, kaley corgi could care less, but hey, i want her to look sharp, even if daddy just kept on laughing. kaley corgi dad knows i only shop when he goes off to a business meeting, which is very infrequent and he works at home, but he just knew once he left i had a misson to find the doggles and hope not all sold out, for it is the end of the summer season.....i was lucky...i hope kaley corgi thinks so too, and at least i am enjoying the pics...hope you do too. kaley corgi kisses.

The Legend of Jimmy "Pugface" Reynolds
Picked up from the minors in 1937, Jimmy "Pugface" Reynolds was, and still is, the shortest player in Red Sox history. Known for an outstanding on-base percentage, it was noted only after his retirement in 1942 that roughly 98% of Reynold's hits were bunts. Pitchers complained of an unfair strike zone that allowed Reynolds to merely "lay a bat on the dirt" to get a hit. Height requirements were established shortly after his retirement. Although he was an amazing catcher for the Red Sox, Pugface Reynolds is most famously known for his running. In fact, as a result of his first season in the majors, the league implemented a rule forcing runners to stay within their base paths. Prior to this rule, Reynolds was well-known for his 42 straight in-the-park home runs. Simply put, once Pugface got a hit (bunt), no one could catch him (he would occasionally hide in the dugout to avoid a tag). His .
