OK, so there I was earlier tonight...taking studio portraits of a beautiful woman and I produced a portrait like this. Granted, on the face of it, this seems particularly evil. However, I can only say (as a plea in mitigation) that Raima (my model) actually managed to come up with this pose herself. Once she had of course, there was simply no way I wasn't going to press the shutter release! :-) I only met Raima at the weekend. She is a professional dancer from Cuba, who has been appearing in Hemingway's Havana at St George's West, as part of The World Festival. On Saturday evening I saw and photographed the show. When I met Raima again on Sunday, she asked if I could take some studio shots of her. There were significant time constraints, since Raima leaves tomorrow and had to perform both last night and tonight. However, we managed to arrange a fairly short studio session tonight,.

Cuban Car
Another should-be-in-a-museum-or-movie-set kind of car. A green one. Many of these are used as illegal taxis in Cuba. You just have to know which direction to point your finger to let them know where you want to go. When and if they stop - since taking foreigners can mean trouble for them - you jump into the car with another six people and pay a small price to be taken wherever your destination is. Funny thing. From one of my rides I did not escape without taking a kiss and a chocolate from the Cuban guy sitting next to me .... In Trinidade, Cuba..

Greetings From the Country Cuban? (Day 168)
Howdy y'all. Now I know what your'e thinking, two videos in a row? Well, my camera is on loan for the next week and on top of that, my camera is having a few technical difficulties along with some of my equipment.
