I think Freud would have a field day with the motivation behind the purchase of such a vehicle -- and this is from someone who is a car guy. If your vehicle is going to consume that much gasoline, at least get some performance , or at least have it be a decent pick-up for hauling material. I just can't see wasting that much gas and have roughly the acceleration and top speed of the 1971 VW Type 3 Squareback in which I learned to drive..

Fiasco
I'm still working on my tutorial about still life with fluorescent lamps. Now I'm at the chapter about reflective objects (I hope to have reflective students, too...). So, instead of the usual bottle of beer, which don't last a lot on my shooting table, I'd go for this strange composition. The two flasks were borrowed from my mother-in-law (I block her before she clean them) and the Bordeaux bottle comes - empty - from the cellar of my neighbor. As you can imagine, there is a complex pun beyond it. The Italian word fiasco has two meanings: 1) the flask, the typical Tuscan bottle used for Chianti, shaped as a pear and wrapped in straw 2) a failure, because wannabee glass blowers mainly obtain things looking like a fiasco bottle, but this term is not very widely used Anyway, who has to make a fiasco (sense 1) and obtain a perfectly straight bottle like the one in the center of the photo a.
